September 17th is North Texas Giving Day and the Dallas Historical Society needs your support.
What is North Texas Giving Day?
North Texas Giving Day is an online giving event that provides nonprofits the opportunity to gain exposure to and for people in North Texas to come together to raise as much money as possible for local nonprofits.
The Dallas Historical Society strives to provide free programming and education opportunities to the community, instilling an appreciation for the value and importance of history. Last year the Dallas Historical Society received over $15,000 in donations. These contributions helped to care for the collection by digitizing thousands of records that are now available online. Donations received on Giving Day also supported the internship program, exhibitions, and educational programs.
What can you do to support the Dallas Historical Society on Giving Day?
On Giving Day (Thursday, September 17, from 6 AM Central – Midnight) visit the Dallas Historical Society’s Giving Day page and make a donation. There is no minimum gift, and all gifts over $25 qualify for special bonuses.
