In the post-war era, religious architecture underwent a transformation that brought modern design to the most traditional of architectural forms. Houses of worship became some of the most prominent and common examples of modernism. Dallas is home to many of these mid-century examples of modern church and synagogue design.
Bob Jaeger, President and Co-Founder of Partners for Sacred Places, the only national, nonsectarian, non-profit organization dedicated to the sound stewardship and active community use of America’s older religious properties, will explore the impact of modernism on Dallas’ sacred places.
Speaker: A. Robert Jaeger, President and Co-Founder of Partners for Sacred Places
