I recently did some remodeling in the kitchen and inside the wall I found a Woosies beverage bottle I have never heard of this and was wanting some info on it.

There have been a number of discussions of local soft drinks, including Woozie [so spelled], recently and dating back several years on the forum. The search function can bring these up.

woozie had the best flavored drinks ever, good creme soda also i wish i had a cold grape right now

billb grapette in cans can still be purchased at wal-mart also orangette and lemonette.

I had not thought about Grapette for a long time. It was a favorite childhood drink at one time - I remember my folks stopping at filling stations and sometimes I'd get to fish the bottle of choice out of those old coolers with the drinks in an ice-water bath. But one day I must have drunk one too fast or something and got sick and blamed it on the drink. I did not drink them so often after that. Still, l'll hunt for them next time I'm in Wal-Mart. Hope there is a diet version though! Thanks for the information.

I remember when I was 8, my mother was in the hospital and my grandmother came down for a few days to help Dad and me. One afternoon, I drank a Nehi strawberry soda with my grandma. Later that night, I got sick....some sort of viral gastritis..and began to barf. It was bright red and scared the hell out of my dad. I remember him exclaiming,"Oh Lord, what's the matter with you,boy!" He thought I was having a GI bleed. Jim

woosie was a pepsi cola beverage,root beer cream soda.I use to seperate the empty`s and stock the fulls at arcadia dairyway gro back in the 50`s thru 70`s

Back in the 50's, Woozie had a contest...When your phone rang and it was Woozie calling, if you answered "Woozie" instead of '"hello" you won a prize. I remember my mother won a small radio.
