the sign iam thinking of was a big circular sign attached to a building on the east end of downtown i also remember the pearl beer sign on 35 around goat hill with the running water
I seem to remember a Falstaff Beer sign on a metal silo about where S. Lamar runs into old S. Central Expway(now highway 310) But then it again part of my memory says it was a Metzger's Milk sign. This would have been where the Bordens plant is now.
The silo/tank on S Lamar was a Metzger's Milk sign. That was back in the day when Bud was painting silos etc up to look like beer cans. It seemed an ideal location but it stayed Metzger's Milk.
